As the vision for MASQ Network has expanded, so has the web3 space. Many innovative and essential web3 projects are showing remarkable progress and are being adopted throughout the blockchain space. This growth not only provides an “open playground” for many projects to become more interconnected through partnerships and integrations, it is also a massive opportunity for web3 building blocks to integrate and become a powerful and cohesive construct.

In Q3 and Q4 2022 the core team at MASQ will be executing several critical strategic initiatives to expand our partnerships, collaborations, and integrations with other projects, bringing enhanced utility to our community and $MASQ token supporters.

web3 Store

In our recent update we announced that the MASQ in-app library of platforms, dApps, and online tools was renamed the MASQ “web3 Store”. This name change signals MASQ’s focus on web3 as an evolution of today’s online experience and is a key component of building MASQ into the onramp for the world of web3.

Our goal here is twofold: first, MASQ offers users one-click access to everyday sites and platforms while retaining complete control of their privacy online, and second, MASQ is a curated space where users can explore, discover and interact with the most potent and disruptive web3 projects in today’s digital world.

Here’s what to expect so far:

The starter list of websites and apps in the web3 Store will soon expand, putting more MASQ partners and connections in front of the MASQ Network user community.
Over-the-Air updates will bring new apps, innovations, and partners to the web3 Store and further expand the MASQ privacy ecosystem.
The Featured-App banner in our web3 Store opens partnerships and advertising opportunities for projects who want to stand out to MASQ users.

Supported by a public GitHub repo, MASQ’s web3 Store list can be curated partly by the community, with proposals for new additions being subject to a vote.

Most exciting is that the web3 Store will form a new part of the tokenomics model for the $MASQ utility token. While the team is finalizing the mechanics, here are some early ideas that are being considered for the final model:

Web3 Store listing and advertising revenue to support MASQ developers.
A portion of the revenue will also be shared with Crucible MASQ LP subscribers on an ongoing basis.
A portion of the revenue can be used for $MASQ utility token buyback & burn mechanics on a regular basis.

After several months of exploration and design, the core team is excited to announce the implementation of another key concept into the MASQ app, MASQ Premium.

These features will become available to Premium users as they are added to the MASQ codebase. More features are being considered as our team completes the final designs and mechanics for each.
